If there's one thing that can be classified as a black-and-white distinction between a master and an amateur, it is the level of responsibility he accepts for his actions, and sometimes the actions of others. Responsibility encompasses honor, _____, and _____, as key traits, and extends beyond the actions into consequences. At the highest level, the masterful individual will accept responsibility even for indirect consequences of his actions, understanding that through his causality, he may have set in motion a chain of events which cannot be undone by anyone else. The responsible individual never turns his back on something that is within his power to change or improve. Ultimately, he accepts responsibility not only for his own existence but for the well-being of society as well. He does not contribute through personal gain, but gains personally from his contributions.
